Lodging & Accomodations

All lodging is included in the price of our hunts.  Our farmhouse lodge is a comfortable three bedrooms, can accommodate up to 16 people, however we do not take more than 6 hunters per camp during whitetail season as we like to truly keep our camp numbers low where we are able to focus on every hunter that is in camp and never bite off more than we can chew, which would lose the quality in our mind. The main lodge is centrally located within a short driving distance to the majority of our hunting properties and we have a smaller lodging facility at our furthest ranch which is about 45 miles away from the main lodge that we stay at in order to avoid having any long commutes and to give our hunters as much rest and relaxtion as possible during the non hunting hours.

Accommodations include:

  • 3 meals per day (deer season only)
  • Bunk bed sleeping quarters
  • Multiple restroom facilities
  • 2 Commons rooms with satellite television
  • Laundry facilities
  • Covered Patios
  • Fire Pit with swing chairs around the fire

Other amenities include:

  • Outdoor rifle range
  • Outdoor archery range
  • trap shooting range

FAQS

What is the minimum trophy size at WOTO?

Western Oklahoma Trophy Outfitters has a strict 3.5+ year old or 135” minimum.  We have this policy in order to insure that our big 2.5 year old bucks do not get harvested.  There is a $750 fine for any buck harvested that is younger than 3.5 years old or falls under the 135” criteria.

When do I arrive at the WOTO lodge?

We ask our hunters to make arrangements to arrive anytime after 3 PM on the day prior to their first day of hunting.  We will work with your schedule as much as we can and will try to accommodate to you needs as much as possible.

What types of hunting stands are available at WOTO?

Being in the wide open country of Western Oklahoma we mainly use elevated box blinds and ground blinds depending on the strategy planned out for your hunt.  We also keep a large number of portable pop up blinds on hand for any change in wind direction or change of plans that might take place in order to provide you with the best opportunity at a trophy whitetail or Rio Grande Turkey.

What happens if a trophy buck is wounded at WOTO?

This is the part of hunting that every hunter dreads and prays never happens to them.  But the reality is that if you hunt long enough, it will more than likely happen to you.  Our staff will put in countless hours to find your trophy buck of a lifetime, but a wound is still a kill.  This will be dealt with on a case by case basis.  We try to remind all of our hunters to only take ethical, high percentage shots to ensure we keep our trophy herd from being wounded and lost.  If you have any questions please contact us to discuss.

Are guide tips included in the price of the hunt?

No, our guides work extrememly hard to make sure you have a safe and memorable hunt, please show them your appreciation.
